Do the changes from Structural Integration last?

Yes. Photos show the changes from S.I to be long lasting. Modifications to our alignment and usage patterns, such as sitting, standing, and walking, help the body maintain its new structure. The nature of S.I. is to work with the body, not on it; this allows clients to take ownership of the body’s new structure..

Are there contraindications for S.I.?

Yes. Acute illnesses or active cancer are definitely contraindications for S.I.. Disabling conditions, connective tissue disorders or pregnancy may also be contraindicated. Your medical history and current medication are discussed before therapy begins. This evaluation helps identify your areas that require special attention.
